Scope and method
- Source
- Publicly visible Reddit content; observation_status = archived_snapshot (archived snapshot), observed at 2026-11-07 07:30 (UTC).
- Window
- The past week. The data service does not state the exact start and end of the week, so this page gives no date range.
- Data cutoff
- Each community has its own data cutoff (last column of the table), from 2026-11-06 23:54 to 2026-11-07 07:11; the header shows the earliest.
- Scope
- All 10 collected communities the database assigns to smart home (starter and advanced), home security and robot vacuums; home improvement and home buying communities are left out. This is a different observation batch from the consumer electronics page, so the two pages’ figures should not be added up.
- Metrics
- Posts and comments are items published in the past week; active authors are distinct accounts that posted or commented in the past week.
- Not shown
- Subscriber counts are not available yet. Brand mentions per community are being checked for alias matching and will be added after that.
- Calibration
- Figures are uncalibrated snapshot values and do not cover all activity in a community.
